Texas Surf Museum’s Mission

The Texas Surf Museum is where surf enthusiasts come to reflect on their joy of surfing and the curious come to learn about the sport. We showcase a collection of engaging, educational and enlightening exhibits and memorabilia, which chronicle the history of surfboards and wave-riding in general – more specifically, along the Texas Gulf coast.

Our museum is located in the historic 1893 Printing Annex of the original Galveston Daily News Building, in the historic Strand district of Galveston. We are a proud, Texas-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
